I keep putting this first post off because I'm not sure what to say or how to say it. But it's driving me crazy so I've just got to start. Here goes nothing:
I used to think New Year's Resolutions were silly. I thought, If you really want to change something about your life, why wait til the beginning of the year to do it? I still get that, but the idea of being upfront about my goals for this new year is much more appealing to me than it has been in the past. Some of my resolutions are things I've already been working toward, and some of them are things I've talked about but never got around to starting. But now I have them written down, I've worked out some measurable goals, and I'm pulling Josh in to help me ;)
*Chk-chk* Let's do this thing.
2012 is going to be about figuring out all the things I keep wishing I understood better. I'm going to stop wishing and start learning. This year (and this blog) are going to be about my quest to figure out life. I want to learn more about homemaking, creativity, health, love, and responsibility... I don't have a super clear plan or anything yet, but that's the point - I'm learning as I go! Care to join me?
