10 Mid-October Progress Report

Guys, this is gonna be short and to the point. Like I said yesterday, I tried working on it then but it wasn't clicking.. and today I'm still very distracted. Here goes.

Eating Salads - Doing well!
Taking Supplements - Meh?

Getting to bed on time - Bad!
Waking up on time - Really bad!
(Also, the whole getting-to-bed-before-10:30-thing is proving to be kind of impossible, with the schedule Josh and I keep. I foresee at least one 'F' in my report card this month...)

Cleaning the spare room - I haven't even started yet! D: How discouraging. Here's hoping we can get it ready in time for a guest in two weeks. I have faith in us... misplaced though it may be :P

Minor Goals:
Organize desk area - Nope.
Something creative every week - Yeah, ok, I'll give myself that. But it hasn't really been on purpose - it's just sort of worked out that way.

So far, I'd give myself a 20% for effort. Not great! This month's report card won't be getting hung on the fridge, that's for sure...

Time to step it up. I still think it's feasible to tackle the spare room in 2 weeks, especially if I dedicate a few days to it. I'm making an executive decision to scrap the bedtime/waking time resolution, though. It just isn't realistic when we're out past 10:30 most nights anyway.. which requires a later waking time the next morning or I'm spent all the next day. (Moments like these make me wonder how well I'll be able to handle being a new parent one day. Will I have enough energy? That's something I worry about..)

How're your resolutions going this month?

  1. Kelli, don't feel bad about your sleeping times. I'm the same way. As long as you're getting enough sleep and are still getting out of bed and doing things, it's okay.
And I have faith in your abilities to tackle that bedroom! Just get some music going and try to have fun with it!

  2. You've got this! whoo! (Just tryin' to be your personal cheerleader over here. ;))
Try breaking the bigger goals up into little bits; maybe try to just focus on one box/table/corner one day. And listen to some awesome music. You can do this!

  3. The month's not over yet! You've still got time to improve your grade, and it sounds like you've already got the most important things down, anyway. :)

  4. Hey Kelli, sorry to see that your resolutions this month aren't turning out how you hoped. I have faith that you can still save some of them, though. ;) I agree with Tyler and Sandra, play some fun music and tackle that spare room in sections.

Most of my resolutions this month are going pretty well. You can check out my report here. http://averagegeek4christ.blogspot.com/2012/10/mid-october-progress-report.html Also, take a moment to admire my header. I am ridiculously proud of it, simple though it may be.
