This month I've got a pretty light load of resolutions, so I don't expect to have much trouble keeping up with them. However, checking in halfway through the month always helps me see them to the end. Here's how I'm doing so far:
Finish Bucket List
Since September 1st, I've already crossed off twelve more items! And I'm pretty close to finishing two or three more of them in the next few days. We're really getting there! It looks like we're at about 60% completed, but I'd really like to make it at least 75%. Officially, I only have until the 21st, and realistically, I know I can't squeeze in that many activities.. I'm thinking of creating an Autumn Bucket List and rolling over a few of the uncompleted items.. But I'm getting ahead of myself now. First I've gotta get through summer ;)
Eat Clean/Take Supplements Daily
Well, I was doing well with this until the last few days. I've forgotten to take my supplements most of this week.. so it's a good thing this little check-in reminded me!Catch Up on A Year of Dates
Well, there are no posts up yet. But I plan to churn out both June's and July's recaps this next week. And would you believe me if I told you we haven't even gone on August's date yet? August was so busy, then we left for vacation, and we just haven't gone yet. So.. lots to do in this department. At least it's all FUN!
Bonus! Uncompleted extras from previous months (both from July):
Revamp Budget: I FINALLY DID IT! It didn't even take that long. What a weight off my shoulders.
Jared/Anna's Photos: I finally handed over the disk of wedding photos to my poor friends on Tuesday. That feels good. I really hope they like them!
So.. again, it's a super light month of goals. But I'm grateful for the respite.
How are your goals for September going? Are you excited to see Summer come to an end, or are you still grasping onto the remnants?

I'm excited for fall too. it's one of my favorite seasons. I love the rain and cool weather. Love your blog too!
ReplyDeleteI can't wait for it to be completely autumn! I truly love fall. I got really behind in school last year (homeschooled ;) so I did school all summer. I finished on a Friday, and started back the following Monday! The way I see it, it I have to be "back" in school already, I just want it to be fall.

Ah yes, homeschooling through the summer. it's a blessing and a curse! :P
DeleteYou have really had a great summer with that bucket list of yours. I'm jealous! :)
ReplyDeleteWhat supplements do you take exactly?
I thoroughly enjoyed reading your July recap. I'm commenting here because I'm too lazy to double comment at the moment and I need to get back to work. BUT I think your ideas for his birthday month were great and I'm glad you two had such fun. And as for Night At The Museum and Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs...both are fun but I must agree, Cloudy takes the cake. Haha, the really LARGE cake. It remains one of my faves to watch with a girl friend of mine.
As for my September goals- well, as you know, the healthy aspect is not awesome at the moment but it's about 50/50 with all of my other goals. I'm fairly satisfied thus far, this being my first month to set goals.
Texas falls can be pretty hot, which is why we've been enjoying the cooler/rainier weather we've been having of late. :)
