Friends! Today is the official first day of summer. To celebrate, I made our 2012 Summer Bucket List:
Looks like it's going to be a super fun summer! I know it's unrealistic to expect that we'll complete all of these adventures, but the goal is to do most of them! I'm really excited about this. You KNOW I'll take pictures and share with you guys as we go :)
Do any of you create summer bucket lists? What are you looking forward to most about this summer?

ReplyDeleteI wrote a quick one- but used Piscasa with an old photo- it is not as cute as yours...maybe you could write a post on how you construct your blog (pretty please)

I used Picasa as well! I found the sunflower image by searching for public domain images of sunflowers. Then I simply used the text tool, using the space bar to avoid writing over the petals. Really simple! As for a post about constructing my blog.. what do you mean? How I came up with the design?

Looks like you are in for an awesome summer Kelli!! And I totally want to copy you and do all the same stuff! Chalk art,Drive-in theaters,flea markets,wildflower centerpieces and movie marathons? I think we have a lot in common:) What ,exactly, is a "pharmacy arcade"?? Or is that 2 separate things -hehe.
ReplyDeleteHehe! They are two separate things. "The Pharmacy" is a downtown burger joint that we want to try this summer. And "arcade" simply refers to a trip to the local arcade together ;)

DeleteMaddy - she's not the sara from the videos, haha. The reason they aren't making them over the summer is because Kirby is working at a camp and she doesn't have time to do them. Sara doesn't have an iPhone or iPod to make the videos with, and she'd be too busy even if she did because she's still interning at Cottage Cove. But I'm pretty sure they'll keep making videos i the fall! At least I hope they will!

DeleteI like your list. I've always wanted to have a bucket list so I'm hosting one with my friends so we can all write life bucket lists. I laughed because "kiss in the rain" will also be on my list:) I love reading your blog!
ReplyDeleteNice! I don't have a life bucket list.. I have thought about it but I get overwhelmed thinking about all the things I want to do before I "kick the bucket." If I can come up with this much for one summer, can you imagine the bucket list I'd come up with for the next 60+ years?! :P It's a really cool concept though. Maybe one of these days I'll get around to it.

ReplyDeleteY'know the braid Katniss has in the movie version of The Hunger Games? It's a french braid that starts above/behind one ear, goes diagonally around the back of the head, and hangs down on the other side. DeleteI need to make a rest-of-the-year-2012 bucket list, because I just see yours and lose the ability to think for myself and just want to steal it from you. HA. I really really want to do some of those though, and just in general get out and have off-the-cuff adventures more often. I'm too scheduled and waste a lot of good free time.

DeleteI think I've changed my mind about bangs. Too much upkeep. But I AM doing my research about what kind of hair cut I'd like to get!
This is a great idea. I'm type A, so lists are my favorite. I think that's going on my July goals, though. :)
