Hello, friends! We are recuperating after a week of sickness in our house. It's just that time of year, I guess. On the bright side, we've finally ironed out the kinks for my email address, so send away! If you sent an email in the past week or so but haven't received a reply, please try again! kelli@blimeycow.com (that's K-E-L-L-I -- make sure you spell it right or it gets lost in the void!)
Now that that's out of the way.. Do you guys remember Kirbyeveryday? Once a week, Kirby and Sara make a video chronicling their daily happenings as interns for an after-school program. They're hilarious.
Well, I decided to make my own "everyday" video, and I wanted to share it with y'all:
Call it an homage to my beautiful friend, Kirby. She's leaving us this weekend (saaaaaad!), but I got it edited just in time to share it with her in person.
On a related note, tonight we're celebrating 5,000 views on Kirby and Sara's first everyday video! I'm so excited to hang out with her once more before she heads back home. (We love you, Kirby!)
Of note:
-Josh left early to help a friend move on that day - that's why he's not there when I wake up.
-This video was taken on the last day of our health cleanse. That's why I was avoiding the crackers. And that's why Josh's "surprise" really was a treat! ;)
Let me know what you think about my video! I had a lot of fun making it. Have any of you waited an embarrassingly long time to throw out your Christmas tree? Any weird dreams about Chick-fil-A and/or boiled eggs?
Tha was soooooo AWESOME!!!!!! Haha I loved it and u should sooo make more!!!!! If u want, u can check out my blog at, www.theprincesscorner.blogspot.com!!!! I love ur blog!!!!
I just found your blog via Blimey Cow and started scanning out of curiosity about the Kelli I had met through Messy Mondays. I realized our birthdays are only a day apart and we are in the same season of life. I too am figuring out budgeting with envelopes, (thank you for the Sparksavings link - I have been looking for a resource like that, but couldn't find a free one)healthy eating, and how to keep a home organized while enjoying the early marriage years. Anyway, looking forward to reading along with you!
Berries and fruit in chocolate was actually God's idea. True story.
I had a dream about Chick-fil-a the other day too. My brother works at a Chick-fil-a in New Mexico, so I told the worker about it and he didn't believe NM is part of the US.
I watched this last week and it cracked me up. Totally going to make my own one day. Maybe soon. Probably not though. Cause that's how I roll.
Also, I wish we had kept our tree for an embarrassingly long time. I swear my mom was chucking the tree out the door half an hour after opening presents. I guess she just hates Christmas and happiness.
We once kept our tree until March as well. We kept it on our balcony and then got lazy. Friends of ours have been known to keep their tree longer out in their backyard to throw on a bonfire. The flames shot a good 20 ft in the air.
Kelli, I loveee the video so much! loved seeing a glimpse into a day in your life. I love chick fil a and I will have to try vegan fudge some time soon, it looks delicious!
This video was awesome! You're too cute! I get that excited/happy about chocolate, too. Hahaha.

ReplyDeleteThe video is amazing. I'm trying to develop a to do list culture. It was encouraging to see how you were able to get through you're entire list.

You should make a video of all the little things that happen behind the scenes of one Messy Monday video!!!! :D
ReplyDeleteYou and Josh are super cute, by the way! Can you share your love story sometime?
