10 A Really Good Week

You guys, this week has been AWESOME. Here, let me show you:
Monday
On Monday, Josh and I had lunch at the Farmers' Market and got a ton of fresh produce for cheap. Love that place! In the evening, I met up with two of my closest friends to catch up over tea/coffee. It was a refreshing time for me.. My heart needed "girl time" with these two.

Tuesday
I tried no-heat curls for the first time, with awesome results. The most exciting part of Tuesday was when Josh was on the radio! (You can listen to the interview here.) After the radio interview, we spent the whole day with my in-laws and Pop Pop, who'd flown in the night before. It was nice to have a chill day with Josh's family.

Wednesday

On Wednesday, Josh and I went on our April Date: "The Classic." We saw Titanic in 3D and ate an early dinner at Fulin's! (Click the link for more pictures and to read about our date!)

Thursday
I spent the day organizing while Josh worked on Blimey Cow stuff, then we met up with some friends at the Opry Mills Mall - first time we've been since the flood in '10! It was super nice. I didn't get any pictures, though. In fact, these are literally the only three pictures I took on Thursday. And they're not even remotely interesting. Boo for me.

Friday

Josh and I met with a local T-shirt distributer after lunch, and we were encouraged by the quality of the shirts and the deal he was able to give us. Then we had dinner with Pop Pop and Josh's family (we were going to celebrate Sarah's birthday, but her family's plans changed at the last minute). All three of these pictures were from hanging out at the Taylor's.

Saturday

Saturday was pretty full and definitely awesome. I had a good time at Anna's Wedding shower - really enjoyed getting to hear more of her and Jared's story. Then we went to the park with a great group of people, and Josh played kickball and volleyball while I made the world's longest daisy chain with Kirby (it went all the way from home to first base on a baseball field!). When everybody got hungry, we headed to Emily and Barry's house for an amazing cook-out with tons of yummy food, a bonfire, and Live Mafia = one of the best nights of the year. So much fun.

Sunday
So now we've come to yesterday. Josh and I had lunch with my parents and helped them plant their vegetable garden (so excited).  Then we celebrated Bethany and Shadrick's soon-to-come baby, Conner, by showering them with gifts and hugs! It's always great to see the Willis clan. After the shower, we went to the Taylor's again to celebrate Pop Pop's birthday and shoot this week's Messy Mondays video ("Stupid Drivers").

P.S. I would usually share my monthly report card on the last day of the month, but due to *ahem* motivational difficulties, it'll be up tomorrow afternoon!

Did anybody else have a rockin' awesome week? Tell me about it! Even if it wasn't the best week you've ever had, what was your favorite part?

  3. I'm glad we got to see y'all on Sunday! Alex told me when we left "even though Josh and Kelli live far away, we should try to hang out with them more."

    1. Awh! We had a really good time chatting with you two. It really is a shame that the distance keeps us apart. Alex and I were discussing on Sunday how much we have in common as couples (besides the obvious - you being pregnant and all! I'm still so excited for you!)

  4. I finished reading The Silmarillion yesterday! That's one of my many resolutions for the year that I can check off my list!

I enjoyed reading about your Titanic/Fulin's/photobooth date. Definitely a wonderful gift. And that's only 1/12th of it?! Fabulous!

  6. So I searched all your posts cause I was sure there was one about the Blimey Cow t-shirts.... I did this so that my message could seem some what relevant instead of some crazy stalker person O_o
Anyways I have a proposition for the "Taylors" regarding a possibly donated autographed Blimey Cow t-shirt for our church Auction on May 20th.... Let me know! I will provide any information you would need. ambercostner@ymail.com.
Sorry to put this on your blog Kelli, I just thought you guys might get the message easier than email
Hope I am not out of bounds
